  2.       Aliens have taken over the  earth  and  you have been given the 
  3.       task of preventing  them  taking  over  completely. You control 
  4.       five vortons who have to  push  the  deadly lasertron along the 
  5.       last highway in the world not controlled by the aliens to reach 
  6.       Zone Zero. If you  succeed  the  world  is  saved!   The screen 
  7.       display shows a smooth scrolling  3D  highway with your vortons 
  8.       lined up in a neat  crocodile  ready  to  take the lasertron to 
  9.       Zone Zero. There are 30 zones  or screens to complete each with 
  10.       its particular hazards. These include  mines, energy fields and 
  11.       one-eyed creatures  that  can  be  shot.    There  are  objects 
  12.       scattered about the various screens  like  barrels and bales of 
  13.       hay that can be moved to  block  the path of the aliens, mines, 
  14.       energy fields or to  provide  cover.    Highway  Encounter is a 
  15.       terrific mixture of action and strategy with neat wall animated 
  16.       graphics and sound.
